February Funding Competition

Welcome to our first-ever February Funding hosted by the ICSB Marketplace. This opportunity is for teams made up of students and alumni from accredited universities who are seeking funding for their start-ups. Start-ups will be judged based on the strength of the Customer Value Proposition (CVP) provided as well as supporting documentation that demonstrates the viability of the venture. The awards for the February Funding Competition are as follows:

  • Best overall app – wins $1500
  • Best woman-led startup $1000
  • Best minority-led start-up $1000
  • First runner up app $750 or $1000 toward trip to Paris for
  • Marketplace
  • Second runner up app $500
  • Third runner up app $250

The ICSB Marketplace is a space where startups, small businesses, entrepreneurs from all over the world can meet with investors, mentors, partners, and each other to curate, establish, and advance a business in and for the future.

ICSB created the Marketplace to overcome barriers of access for small businesses as well as researchers, policy makers, and entrepreneurship organizations who are active players in the field of small business where all stakeholders can join together to collaborate, consult, network, and more. We are working to pull down the barriers to entrepreneurial success and small business growth.

Following our very prominent Design-Build-Grow framework, the ICSB Marketplace is a space where all entrepreneurship stakeholders can meet, learn, exchange, and promote one another. Criteria:

– Student or alumni of accredited university
– Has completed the CVP template
– Turns in a completed application before 2/28/21 at 11pm EST

 

Finalists will be announced at latest by the end of the second week of March.
