CALL FOR PAPERS

The 7th Asian SME Conference will be held in Gwangju Metropolitan City, Korea from
Nov 21 to Nov 23, 2019. ACBS(Asia Council for Small Business) invites abstracts
and/or manuscripts for the conference. The conference theme is Digital Transformation,
Future Direction of SME and Venture Policy, and Entrepreneurship.

ACSB Conference is devoted to promoting the empirical and theoretical studies of
SMEs or entrepreneurial venture, especially in the Asia Pacific regions and the related
issues, both positive and normative. Examples of relevant topics may include, but not
limited to:

  • Digital transformation and Small business management
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Challenges and opportunities unique to minority owned enterprises
  • Small business and entrepreneurial marketing
  • Franchising and small businesses
  • Entrepreneurship education and small business education
  • Small business finance and accounting
  • Small enterprise governance and agency
  • Technology and innovation in SMEs
  • SMEs and emerging markets
  • Small business policies, economics, and legal issues

SUBMISSION INFORMATION

All Extended abstracts must be in English and about 5 pages. The cover page should contain the paper’s title, the author’s name, affiliation, address, and e–mail address. The second page should contain only the paper’s title and abstract. All extended abstracts should be submitted in PDF format to korea.icsb@gmail.com by November 15,
2019. No submission fee is required. We expect to complete the review process and notify the result as early as possible. However, the papers submitted earlier than the due date will be reviewed and returned with decision to the authors in their order of submission.
