International Women’s Day (IWD) has occurred for over a century, with the first​ ​IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people in Austria, Denmark, Germany, and Switzerland. ICSB 2023 theme for IWD is “The Impact of Women Scholars on the Entrepreneurial Landscape.”

ICSB in partnership with World Learning welcomed 13 participants from the MENA region. Although this was initially for the purpose of facilitating deeper collaboration between the two regions, we also discussed barriers within the field, incoming trends, and best practices.
