Kwame Adom

Dr Adom is an Associate Professor of Business the School of Business at Burman University, Lacombe, Alberta. He is the owner and Senior Consultant of Entrepreneur's Clinique; a business and Management Consulting firm based Accra, Ghana. He has a PhD in Management (Entrepreneurship focus) from the University of Sheffield Management School, Sheffield, UK, an MBA (Finance) from the University of Leicester, BSc Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Professional Diploma in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) the UK. He is an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM, UK) and National Black MBA Association Inc., Chicago – USA. His research interests draw on experiences from Africa, specifically Ghana, to inform theoretical developments in entrepreneurship dynamics, motives of informal workers and the relationship between formal and the informal economy and socioeconomic development. Dr Adom is an experienced Consultant/Trainer in Entrepreneurship/Marketing and Management with proved working experience. He has been training institutions and individuals in the area of entrepreneurship: new venture creation, social entrepreneurship, business planning, entrepreneurial marketing.
