Dr. Eric Liguori

Dr. Eric Liguori holds the Rohrer Chair of Entrepreneurship at Rowan University and is the Executive Director of the Rowan Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. In 2019 he became the youngest person ever elected to serve as President of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, the largest academic organization dedicated to advancing entrepreneurship education through bold teaching, scholarship, and practice. Currently, Liguori serves as the Managing Editor of the Journal of Small Business Management and Executive Editor of Entrepreneurship Education and Pedagogy. For several years he was the NACCE's Lead Researcher overseeing evaluation for their curriculum partnership with Hewlett-Packard's Learning Initiative for Entrepreneurs. In 2021 Liguori was named a Justin G. Longenecker Fellow of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, the organization's highest honor, for his "outstanding contribution to the development, furtherance and benefit of small and medium businesses." Liguori's work has been published in leading outlets including Journal of Management, Small Business Economics, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Business Research, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, and International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior and Research. His work has been featured in media outlets including USA Today, U.S. News and World Report, Forbes.com, and BuzzFeed. Liguori holds a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from Louisiana State University, an MBA from the University of South Florida, and a B.S. in Human Resource Management from Florida State University.
