Marco Cucculelli

Marco Cucculelli (PhD Rome) is professor of Applied Economics at UNIVPM and director of the PhD program in Economics. He is Secretary General of the Italian Economic Association for the term 2019-2022. He has been Fulbright Distinguished Chair at the University of Pittsburgh (PA), where he has taught a course on Entrepreneurship, Small Business and Economic Development. Marco has published on the fields of innovation, corporate finance and entrepreneurship in the Journal of Corporate Finance, Research Policy, J. of Small Business Management, Small Business Economics, Journal of Evolutionary Economics, Journal of Cleaner Production, Management Decision, Economics Letters, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, Cambridge J of Economics and other journals. In addition to the regular editorial activity, he as edited some special issues in international journals. He is an Associate Editor of the JSBM, JSBE and the Italian Economic Journal. He has worked as expert evaluator for the Italian Ministry for Education and University, the UAE University in Dubai, the FWO, the University of Florence, Rome – Tor Vergata and other universities. He also participates as senior expert to several EU-funded projects and works as external consultant for Italian companies and associations. As for the international activity, he is a founding member of the Industry Studies Association (USA) and a founding member of the Asian Entrepreneurship Association. In 2011, he was elected – as Director at-large 2012-14 – to the Board of the International Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship – ICSB, Washington, D.C. (USA).
