JINJU, South Korea – October 27, 2025 — The 2025 Jinju International Forum on Entrepreneurship celebrated a milestone moment as Dr. Winslow Sargeant, Immediate Past Chair of the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) and former Chief Counsel for Advocacy at the U.S. Small Business Administration, was named an Honorary Citizen of Jinju City. 🇰🇷
Dr. Sargeant served as a keynote speaker during the opening ceremony, where he reflected on the transformative power of entrepreneurship and its role in addressing the most pressing challenges facing humanity.
“The entrepreneurial spirit is, at its core, forward-looking — it empowers us to address the challenges that affect humanity and society. Together, we can build solutions that uplift people and strengthen communities everywhere,” said Dr. Sargeant.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Sargeant shared that he was both humbled and surprised by the recognition, calling it “a distinction I will carry with deep appreciation.”
