The Journal of the International Council for Small Business (JICSB) explores the many dimensions of micro, small, and medium sized enterprises (MSMEs) policy, economic development policy supporting MSMEs, and MSME performance. The journal is part of the International Council of Small Business (ICSB), a potent source of expertise and knowledge. The purpose of the Journal of the International Council for Small Business (JICSB) is to advance research and knowledge of policies and economic development as they relate to improving the performance and sustainability of micro, small, and medium sized enterprises (MSMEs).
Dr. Jeffrey R. Alves served as dean of the Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership at Wilkes University from 2011 – 2016. Prior to joining Wilkes University, he was President of Vergason Technology, Inc., a small, rapidly growing technology-based company named to the “Fast-Track 500” as one of the 500 fastest growing private companies in the United States.
Manuscripts considered for JICSB should address theory, policy formulation and implementation, MSME practice, education and training, and research issues in a rigorous way using qualitative or quantitative techniques, or a combination of these techniques.
