Dr. A. Vinodan is Associate Professor in the School of Commerce and Business Management at the Central University of Tamil Nadu, India. With over two decades of experience in teaching, research, and consultancy, his academic work focuses on sustainable tourism, responsible business practices, ESG-linked policy frameworks, and sustainable development. At the Central University of Tamil Nadu, he designed and teaches India’s first M.Com programme oriented toward Responsible Business Practices. Earlier, he served as the founding Nodal Officer and Campus Head of the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (South Campus), under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, where he introduced the country’s first approved PGDM/MBA programme in Tourism and Cargo Management. Dr. Vinodan received his Ph.D. in Management from Cochin University of Science and Technology, India. His research has been widely published in ABDC A-ranked and Scopus-indexed journals, including Q1 outlets, and he has authored books with leading international publishers such as Routledge, Emerald, and IGI Global. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS), UK, and a Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE), UK.
