Alina Landowska is an Associate Professor at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw and a Research Fellow at the Centre for World Economy at the UKSW in Warsaw. Her research focuses on global economic trends, particularly international economics and entrepreneurship, using methodologies such as Big Text Data Analytics. She has studied and conducted research in Israel, Denmark, and Sweden, supported by numerous scholarships. She is the author of research papers and books and has contributed to major Polish media outlets.
With over 15 years of experience in international environments, she has collaborated with businesses to foster partnerships and advance Poland’s economic development. She represented the Employers of Poland in the Business and Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC) to the OECD and is currently involved in the Entrepreneurial Poland DAO of Business, leveraging blockchain to enhance business collaboration and trade.
Previously, at the Pomeranian Development Agency, she led initiatives such as the Pomeranian Entrepreneurship Forum and Pomeranian Export Broker. As Director for Economic Development, she managed strategic projects and regional systems for entrepreneurship and innovation. She also served in the Ministries of Science and Higher Education, and Regional Development, and was part of the Diplomatic Corps during Poland’s Presidency of the EU Council in 2011.
