This study shows that tourism entrepreneurial success in an emerging economy is strongly influenced by gender, age, education, experience, and innovation. Women, younger entrepreneurs, and those with lower levels of education are more likely to struggle, whereas older, educated, and experienced entrepreneurs are more likely to succeed.
