Humane Entrepreneurship

ICSB Global is excited to announce that registration for Humane Entrepreneurship from Research to Practice is now open! The Event will commence virtually with our opening session on July 25, 2020, 9:00 AM (Washington, DC time) (EDT)

In response to the creation and establishment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the theory and, later to become, practice of Humane Entrepreneurship was proposed as a viable and potentially sole solution to engage the entrepreneurial nature of the economy while promoting just and equitable systems. Humane Entrepreneurship (HumEnt) was founded in the search to further represent the human component within entrepreneurship and economic strategy. Obviously created and initiated by humans, themselves, our systems have very much forgotten the values that are essential when upholding the human spirit. HumEnt is then a strategy of reincorporating humanness and, further, by prioritizing it. In the context of the workplace, the enablement of equity, empathy, and empowerment in Management, coupled with a deep emphasis on appropriate innovation strategy and transformational leadership, can generate an increase in economic wealth sustainable for the environment, and the creation of quality employment opportunities worldwide.
