Two Countries, One Goal: ICSB Mexico and California Entrepreneurship Educator’s Conference Join Forces

April 18, 2019

The International Council for Small Business Mexico in alliance with CETYS University College of Management & Business, and The Lavin Entrepreneurship Center at San Diego State University, hosted the IV ICSB Mexico International Conference in sync with the VI California Entrepreneurship Educators Conference on April 10-13, 2019. This innovative set of conferences with the theme: Transformation, Integration and Innovation, took place in two different venues and in two different countries, but with one common goal.

The first part of the conference was held in Baja California, Mexico and featured author presentations and round table discussions about how people can promote new knowledge and the exchange of innovative ideas between researchers, educators, entrepreneurs, government officials, students and SME’s business owners, on both sides of the border.

At the California Entrepreneurship Educators Conference, the ICSB Social Entrepreneurship Certificate program was held and Certificate Director, Tony Mendez, put on a Social Entrepreneurship seminar followed by a presentation by a local entrepreneur, Jenny Amaranenni and a panel of students currently pursuing Social Entrepreneurship ventures.

ICSB President-Elect, Ahmed Osman, skyped into the conference during the Saturday lunch to send a greeting to conference participants and invited everyone to come to Egypt in June for the World Congress followed by a showing of the Congress promotional video.
