The Japanese Committee of International Council for Small Business (JICSB) was established an ICSB affiliate in Japan in November 2011 and was currently certified as an Affiliate of the International Council for Small Business in June 2012.
Members of the JICSB committee “comprise individuals who are interested in small business studies and participate in the ICSB”.
The Japanese academy enjoys wide-ranging research archives related to small and medium-sized enterprises．We are confident that our achievements would contribute to ICSB. We will welcome those who want to join JICSB.

History
Japan had been an ICSB chapter for a number of years but had never acquired enough members to form an affiliate. Masayoshi Fukuda, an international venture capitalist, consultant and lecturer at Nihon University, visited the ICSB international office at Saint Louis University. Upon his return to Japan, he led the Japanese chapter to increase its membership from 22 to 55 and meet the requirements to be approved as an affiliate. Fukuda became the first president of the affiliate.

JOURNAL OF SMALL BUSINESS INNOVATION (JSBI)
The Journal of Small Business Innovation (JSBI), a quarterly English journal of KASBS and ACBS, invites manuscripts for the publication in 2015-2016. JSBI has already started to solicit the high quality manuscripts for the publication in the journal since the last ACSB conference in Seoul last year. JSBI has already chosen 2 best research papers for the award of $1,000 each from the papers published in the journal last January. And the selection process will be continuing along 2015 until the scheduled 10 awards will be exhausted.
